“A valley so pure, it feels like nature never left.”
Warwan Valley is one of Kashmir’s most remote and enchanting destinations, tucked deep within the Himalayas in the Kishtwar region.
Located at an altitude of around 2,100 meters, the valley is surrounded by snow-covered peaks, dense forests, and crystal-clear streams flowing through wide open meadows.
Life in Warwan is slow and untouched — wooden homes, terraced fields, and age-old traditions reflect the pure soul of Kashmir’s mountain culture.
The valley is also part of several high-altitude trekking routes that connect to Harshil in Uttarakhand and Panikhar in Zanskar.
Experience a truly offbeat valley untouched by mass tourism
Mesmerizing landscapes of meadows, rivers, pine forests & peaks
Traditional wooden villages preserving timeless Himalayan life
Ideal for trekking, landscape photography & silent escapes
Raw and natural beauty that feels completely authentic
June to September: The valley is accessible and beautifully green
Winter (October to May): Heavy snowfall blocks access beyond villages
Warwan Valley is located approximately
170 km from Srinagar → via Anantnag – Achabal – Kokernag – Margan Top route.
Roads are narrow and mountain-pass routes are best traveled with experienced drivers or guided transport services.
