Nubra Valley lies to the north of Leh and is reached by crossing Khardung La, one of the highest motorable passes in the world. The valley is a unique blend of green oasis landscapes and sandy desert stretches, surrounded by towering snow-clad mountains.
The region is dotted with ancient monasteries, traditional Ladakhi villages, apricot orchards, and rivers merging from the Siachen Glacier.
